Savings

Our regular share account has a minimum balance of $5.00. As long as this $5.00 is deposited and maintained, you are eligible for all other services PALCO offers. The $5.00 must remain as long as any service is being utilized.

Share accounts earn dividends based on the average daily balance from the day of deposit to day of withdrawal. Dividends are paid quarterly.

Youth Savings

Children 12 years of age or under can open a dividend earning Kirby Kangaroo savings account. You need as little as a $5.00 deposit.

Important Information about Procedures for opening a new account

To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens an account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we ask for your name, address, date of birth, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license or other identifying documents. In the event that we can not reasonably identify you within ten (10) business days, your accounts will be closed.
